Jun 2, 2024 11:54 PM

The Indiana Pacers are expected to offer Andrew Nembhard a contract extension this offseason, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

Nembhard, who signed a four-year, $8.5 million deal in 2022, is eligible for an extension this summer.

The Pacers are also expected to re-sign Pascal Siakam.

Siakam and Nembhard share the same agent in Life Sports' Todd Ramasar.

Thunder Could Pursue Isaiah Hartenstein In Free Agency

May 31, 2024 1:53 PM

The Oklahoma City Thunder have emerged as the team rival executives believe could be the most likely team to sign Isaiah Hartenstein away from the New York Knicks.

Hartenstein doesn't have the type of ability off the dribble and perimeter shooting that the Thunder have valued, but he is good as a dribble-handoff screener and as a passer. Hartenstein can play alongside other bigs and he also would help the Thunder tremendously as a rebounder.

Hartenstein nearly signed with the Orlando Magic before joining the Knicks, but that no longer is an obvious fit despite their cap space.

The Detroit Pistons have also been previously linked to Hartenstein.

Klay Thompson, Warriors Haven't Made Progress On Extension

May 30, 2024 5:26 PM

Klay Thompson appears likely to hit the open market as a free agent as he and the Golden State Warriors haven't had any notable movement on an extension, sources tell The Athletic.

The Warriors would like to retain Thompson if the contract price is workable and after other aspects of their roster are clarified.

Thompson would like to win and isn't likely to consider a larger offer if it is from a rebuilding team.

Thompson could command a shorter term deal at a large contract amount given his age and injury history.
